'Aldeburgh Beach' shows us the famous sandy beach at Aldeburgh, Suffolk. A town known for its beach and its music festival. Katty McMurray has chosen to portray the beach and a fishing boat using clear strong lines and just a few colours. This style emphasises the graphic impact of the shapes and forms depicted. Fishing lines unravel and lead our eye out to sea.
