Ian Ledward is a member of the Society of Scottish Artists and inspiration for his art work often comes from both the natural and man made environment with a distinctive emphasis on the structure, pattern and poetry of light, colour and shape.

Each distinctive piece from Ian Ledward is a unique creation that offers a slightly different comment on the subject. Ian's art work is the result of a distinct graphic printing process. He takes photographs with a digital camera. The photographic image is then transferred onto a computer and Ian changes elements of the photograph to create an original piece of artwork. He then prints a copy and adds paint effects in acrylic, pen or pencil to achieve the final piece.

Ian Ledward's art work is now in many private and public art collections worldwide.
